Search Engine Optimisation

It’s not the size of your website, it’s what you do with it.

Our approach to SEO is not new – we have been optimising websites for 10 years – however, the way we approach our clients’ websites is different. Whether we're working on a content optimisation project for AXA Home Insurance or a Payment Services microsite for HSBC – we focus on maximising what you already have and then we go to work on what you don’t.

We do this by focusing on ‘the big four’ – Relevancy, Content, Crawlability, and Links. Although, ultimately it’s all about ‘the big one’ – Business Generated.

The big four

Relevancy: Search engine optimisation is about creating relevancy; the more relevant content you have, the more relevant your site is to your customers, and the more relevant your site is to your customers’ search queries, the more you will convert.

Content: Appeal to your customers by providing engaging, useful content, and half the battle is won. Unfortunately, the other half of the battle is a lot harder – and it involves taking on the search engines and their algorithms. This is where we as SEO specialists move things up a gear.

Crawlability: We will ensure the search engines can access your content. If they cannot find it, then neither can your potential customers. We will work with you to configure your site to appeal to the search engines and at the same time, provide a better online experience for your customers.

Links: These take us back to relevancy. The more independent websites that tell the search engines that your website is relevant to their own content, the more trust the engines will place in you. The more trust they place in you to be consistently relevant to your product offering, the higher your site will appear for the most relevant search terms. Links direct users to your website for a reason, so appeal to more relevant websites and give them a reason to link to you in the form of fresh, engaging content.

The big one – Business Generated

We don’t just drive traffic to your site. We drive the right traffic to the right part of your site. The whole point of optimisation is to make you more money. This comes from sales, and sales come from traffic that is already showing buying signs. If your customers are conducting a search then they are already showing signs of intent, and it is our job to ensure that that intention turns into conversion.

Ensuring that you appear for the right search terms and are directing traffic to the most relevant page means your conversions will increase. The fundamental point to be made when looking at search engine optimisation is that it is a long-term investment, but that doesn’t mean to say that you can’t see quick returns. Once your site is constantly and consistently optimised and CheezeDMG has developed and implemented an ongoing strategy, it will become your most cost effective online marketing activity. However, in the short-term, we will identify and play to your strengths to gain ground in your sector as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Your competitors are constantly optimising in an attempt to get to the top of the search results for the right terms and stay there…maintaining that position is a constant battle, but it’s rewarding, and your success is well worth our time and our effort.
